She agrees to introduce electric payment in Apollon. She's sure that
this project yields a large profit. It is because if we increase the number of
stores that use both cash and electronic payments, we can expect income from
both tourists and regular customers.
< William >
She agrees with that too. The
reason is that it is convenient at the time of accounting, and it becomes even
more convenient by linking transportation and cashless functions. She also
believes that it may reduce theft. If the electronic money system and
transportation are linked, it will be easier to pay for buses and trains. It's
very usefull if we can make all payments with only one card.
< Marie >
She
disagrees with a digitization of money. It is because if the electricity is cut
off for long time, we can’t use electric settlement. we won't be able to buy
anything. Also, there is a likelihood that personal information leak out, and
an account is stolen. These are so dangerous, so she doesn’t recommend
digitization of money.
< Lily >
She agrees with introducing electronic money.
There are some advantages. For example, it makes payment easier and faster than
cash. She’s working in a hotel, and it’s very difficult to work at the cash
register. If electronic money is introduced, there will be less work. It also
makes shopping easier because we don’t have to carry cash around.
< Lauren >
She
agrees with it. If it become cashless, many people will not lose money. She has a
habit of putting coins in her pocket when I buy some. So if it turns cashless,
she will not continue to put them in her pocket and forget that. Cashless is
very convenient for us because we don't have to count the money each time we
pay. There are many old people on the island, so they will have a hard time
getting used to cashless at first. She thinks, as Merie says, cashless can be
dangerous for them. However, once they get used to it, cashless is very useful
to them. Also, on the less developed island of Apollo, if it changes to
cashless, we can appeal to tourism as a cashless island nation.
Question from the audience
・How should people who want to collect coins locally?
・Who will compensate for
my store's introduction of electronic payments?
・Do you divide it into
"prepaid" and "postpay"? If yes, why divide it?
・When your smartphone breaks
down and we can no longer use electronic payments, What do you deal with it?
・How do you think about the Apopay.

We couldn't reach a conclusion. But
Marie initially disagreed with this idea, but he listened to everyone and
agreed.
Also, we decided to implement this idea. However, we haven't decided on
the details yet, so we'll do it.
I found your idea of selling coins and banknotes as souvenirs at the same price to be fresh and interesting. I hope that the mechanism and details for the elderly to become accustomed to the cashless system will be decided. Next time you can have a better discussion!
返信削除It was very interesting to say that the first advantage of electronic payments is not to lose money. It was also interesting to see your positive attitude that older people will get used to the new system.
返信削除Through your opinions, I could feel cashless payment to be very attractive.
返信削除I was interested in your opinions about losing money and convinced by this. Thank you for your grate discussion and answering my question.
返信削除I symphathized with your habit of putting coins in your pocket, but if we lose our smart phone or credit card, what do you think we should do? I think losing them is more troublesome than losing coins.
返信削除I think it was good that you said some opinions from your personal point of view.
返信削除I thought that your opinions were lacking on details a little bit. Your opinions were great, but I think that some details should be included in your opinions for understanding your statement more deeply. I am looking forward your next discussion!
返信削除I like your suggestion that treat cash as goods. It never occurred to me and I think it is an amazing idea.
返信削除Your opinion that Apollon's people can sell their money as the products was really interesting. Although it may have been an unexpected question, you told us such a great opinion. However, I think you should have told more about your first statement. It was a little short. You also needed to show the reasons more.
返信削除Your idea of advertising as a country of electronic money was fresh and interesting.
返信削除Karin, when writing about audience interactions, you need to write in paragraph and reported form. You should also credit various audience members with the questions they asked, and write what the answers were. Finally, you did not reach consensus. You reached an agreement to discuss further. They are different.
